Happy New Year and Carpe P.M. ft. Ipsy - Makeup Tutorial

Hello guys, welcome back to the blog! I hope all of y'all had a wonderful Christmas full of wonderful food and all the people you love just like I did. Santa and baby Jesus surly treated me too well this year more than I deserved, and for that I am extremely grateful.

But as a New Year is coming up, and we (some of us) are still under winter break, I wanted to do something special to help you receive the New Year with the best version of yourself. So today I bring you a makeup tutorial to create the perfect New Year's Eve party look using some of my favorite products, as well as my five featured products from my December Glam Bag from Ipsy.

If you haven't heard of Ipsy, Ipsy is a beauty and makeup subscription [box] glam bag, where they send you 5 different high quality beauty products for only $10 dollars per month. These products are selected from a personalize profile that you create when subscribing where you can choose from recognized brands such as Benefit, Tarte, NYX, Too Faced and more.

I've been a member of Ipsy for the past 3 months, and just like I mention on my video, I absolutely LOVE every single product that they have sent me. With Ipsy I've been able to stack up my makeup bag at a minimum cost, but no only that they have also helped me learn more about makeup and skin care, plus their monthly designed bags are always a plus.

So in this video you'll see the five featured products from my December glam bag which are:

I absolutely loved this treatment as soon as my hands touched the product. I used the treatment right after shampooing my hair and let it set for about 8 mins before rising. After I rinsed the entire product out, my hair felt so smooth and nourished. And as a plus this product left a great scent in my hair, loved it.

2- Miracuja Oil from Tarte

At first by looking at the bottle you would think that this oil is very light such like argan oil, but instead is totally the opposite. This oil is very heavy and is recommended to only use two to three drops to the area in use. I decided to apply this oil to my hair as it helps it hydrate right after a shower.

I felt in love with this eyeshadow as soon as I noticed it was going to be on my glam bag (yes you can check what you will be receiving before you get it). The color is so beautiful and creamy, and when in use it applies beautifully. Definitely one of my favs.

This liquid velvet lipstick is the BOMB! And one of my favorite products to use. I love the color and the texture when applying. And if it wasn't enough its MATTE which when it dries it set beautifully without drying your lips, plus it last hrs.

5- Iris Liquid Eyeliner by Hikari Cosmetics

When I opened this glam bag I was a bit skeptical to use this eyeliner as I never heard of this brand and also must pencil eyeliners are difficult to use because they get dry easily. But this is not the case of this Hikari eyeliner because I felt in love with is at the first try. When in use it was such an easy product to use, the pencil worked great against my skin and the shade wasn't super black which gave my eyelashes a chance to show against it.

Also on my video I have featured some other products that I have previously gotten from Ipsy such as:

1- Good Morning Facial Serum by Hey Honey

2- The POREfessional balm from Benefit

3- Antioxidant Lip Scrub by Indi Beauty

And to finalize the look I also used:

1- Naked 2 Basics Palette from Urban Decay

2- Prim Blush by Tarte

4- Brow Wiz Medium Brown by Anastasia Beverly Hills
