It's crazy how behind schedule one can get with school (and life in general) but glad I'm finally getting some free time to get all caught up with all my blog posts. I would have to say that this Spring semester has had so many low and high points, but I'm glad to be just months away from being done with my Master's degree, so that's always something to be excited about.
Also, I'm so happy summer is finally here and even tho I have to take two summer classes to be able to graduate this upcoming December (little update about my life). I'm so excited with all of my plans I have on schedule for this season so keep an eye on the blog for all of my adventures. Now let's start this Ipsy Review!
When I first saw this Ipsy bag design I was so excited, it reminded me right away of a circus, and I can honestly say that the "Ticket" design is one of the cutest I've ever seen from Ipsy so far. Also little did I know that I was going to go on a Circus date that week; I took my date to experience his first circus show, so this Ipsy bag came in handy for sure, (we had fun, or at least that's what he said, lol) so thank you Ipsy.
This month's Ipsy theme is all about confidence and being yourself. I know a lot of people usually are discourage to show their true self for fear to not being accepted in society and sometimes they even pretend to be someone they are not, especially on social media where people can create their own "life." I know we live in a judgemental world and must of the time it comes from people who are not educated in certain matters. But also thanks to all of these information outlets, we are more educated day by day and can understand more things and reach out to people who feel the same way we feel in matters of seconds. So don't ever think you are alone or don't feel like anyone understand you. Be yourself, Be confident and Be BOLD every day of your life because that's what makes you unique and believe me, that's what draws people in the most, YOU will never be alone!
This month on Ipsy I got:
Let me tell ya about this eyeliner! I simply love it, it's super easy to use and leaves you with a beautiful cat eye finish, perfect for a night out. Like the title mentions the tip of this liner is a brush, so when it's press against your eye, you definitely feel like you are painting on canvas (your face)! If you are a lover of cat eyes, this is something you need to own, plus it removes super easy no leaving dark marks after.
Glamour Dolls x Lisa Frank Angle Blush Brush // $5.00 Pre-Order
ATTENTION!! Not a single unicorn was harm in the making of this brush lol. I had to...
Babies if y'all are lovers of everything pink and everything unicorn (Hello Starbucks), you need this brush in your makeup bag. First, how cool is the design, it reminds you of your elementary days lol (mine were cool). Second, the brush fibers are one is the softest I have ever touched, it's easy to use and grabs blush pigments perfectly. Also, it's only $5! So head over to the website and pre-order this beauty!
touch in SOL No Problem! Primer // $18.00
Okay, okaaay! THIS! YOU. NEED. THIS!
Not even kidding, I am completely honest here. Did you remember the snail moisturizer from last month's review? (you can read it here). This and along with that are going to be your best friends this summer. This primer leaves you poreless without making you feel obstructed and oily. The best part is that it helps you maintain your makeup on perfect shape throughout the whole day and helps you moisturize your skin. I simply love it!
MintPear Vitamin C Serum // $79.00 originally at $99.00
Okay, I know what you are thinking... I thought about it too when I saw it. First, how in the world I got so lucky to be able to use a $99 dollar face serum? And second, yes is THAT good.
Vitamin C serums have become one of the latest trends, and this little guy surprised me. This serum has been made to lighten, tighten and brighten your skin while helping you reduce signs of aging. You don't even need to apply a lot like an everyday moisturizer because little goes a long way which means that it will last for a long time. Use it every night before bed, and you'll wake up feeling like Sleeping Beauty.
If you all have been reading my reviews, you all know that I am deeply in love with Hikari cosmetics. I was so ecstatic when I saw this baby in my bag. Hikari makes one of the most beautiful pigmented eyeshadows that I have ever used, and this one didn't disappoint. I'm definitely feeling like doing a makeup tutorial so y'all can see how easy is to apply it and how beautiful the finishing product is. You need this girl!
So this is it for this month's Ipsy Glam Bag review. Thank you all for your support these past few months, it really means the world to me. I can't believe it will almost be a year since I started blogging. The blog is growing day by day, and I couldn't have made it without y'all. I have learned a lot in the past few months, and sometimes I feel guilty for not giving 100% of my time to this, my passion, but school calls for duty. Again, you guys rock! So thank you so much for your support.
Stay tuned here at The Daily Sash, as I have a lot more things to share with you this summer.
